The title of a postcard multiple by Joseph Beuys Lasst Blumen sprechen (Say it with flowers), and his Rose fur direkte Demokratie (Rose for direct democracy) were impulses behind the decision of the Museum Schloss Moyland to expolre the questions of the meaning, impact and relevance of flowers in artfrom 1960s to today.
The exhibition Say it with flowers! Flowers and artificial nature since 1960 stands for the consistent focus of the Museum Schloss Moyland, as has been the case for some time now, on the core areas of art, nature, and Beuys and their multi-layered interconnections. The project is thus another step on the path towards a clear national and international profile for the Museum Schloss Moyland.
