The title of the exhibition recalls the spirit that permeates all the works of the artist.
A journey through a fairytale world, which comes to life in a context where what seems mild in itself hides a secret and where the tragic becomes “soft”: the tenderness is all for those animals, rabbits, sheep, otters, pigs, used by Man, slaughtered, the remains of which are unused, find in the artist’s work a new dignity.
Chiara Lecca weaves tight relations between everyday objects and childhood with elements of organic animal origin. The latter, in a game based on the ambiguity of their meaning, are de-contextualized and reinserted in unusual settings or surreal or even altered in their socio-cultural function.
Implementing an ironic reflection and at the same time critical on the common relationship with the natural sphere, Chiara Lecca holds a bond as elementary as effective with the viewer, at this point forced to question himself about its feelings.

Un viaggio attraverso un mondo fiabesco, che prende vita in un contesto dove ciò che sembra lieve cela in sé un segreto e dove il tragico diventa “tenero”: la tenerezza è tutta per quegli animali, conigli, agnelli, lontre, maiali, utilizzati dall’uomo, macellati, i cui resti inutilizzati trovano attraverso il lavoro dell’artista una nuova dignità.
Chiara Lecca intesse strette relazioni tra oggetti di uso comune e dell’infanzia con elementi di provenienza organica, animale. Questi ultimi, in un gioco basato sull’ambiguità del loro significato, sono decontestualizzati e reinseriti in contesti inusuali o surreali o ancora alterati nella loro funzione socio-culturale.
Attuando una riflessione ironica e allo stesso tempo critica sul comune rapporto con la sfera naturale, Chiara Lecca stringe un legame tanto elementare quanto efficace con il fruitore, costretto ad interrogarsi sulle proprie sensazioni.
